The PPJ Cyclopark received the Outdoor prize for the year 1999 (Mérite plein-air pour l'année 1999).

This prize is given to a person, a public or private organization, an event, a site or other important elements which have contributed to the progress of the outdoor leisure in the Outaouais region.

The Pontiac, in spite of its beauty, had only a few activities or structured attractions to offer to tourists. 
The MRC has therefore undertake the elaboration, the financing and the realization of great projects as the Cyclopark. An excellent 72 km long bicycle trail is available for everyone. This trail is used by the Pontiac persons for a walk or on bike. Tourists also, come and make a trip on bike.
