Around on the old train tracks of the Pontiac Pacific Junction
railroad, mostly called the Push, Pull and Jerk (or PPJ) by the travelers, there is a
natural park that is being developed. From the principal line of the trail, circuits are
offered to discover the region. The ride is open to all, young and old, and it is done on
side roads for the most part. Here the climate is milder and dryer than on the rest of
Quebec. Very often, while the rest of Quebec still has snow, we can go biking and see the
flowers starting to blossom. So, think about coming to visit us in the
Spring.

On foot or by bike, you can discover the fauna, the flora, the past,
the heritage, and the culture thanks to the interpretation signs
that are placed throughout the 70 kilometres of trail between Wyman and Waltham. You
will find information on the nature, the agriculture, the forest, the swamps, the history,
and the geology of the area.
The Cyclopark crosses many interesting ecosystems and is close to rare
and important natural environments that are diverse in fauna and flora, such as the Finlay
Islands.
In less than 70 kilometres, you will discover zones of culture,
breeding, fallow land, forests, swamps, peat-moss, creeks, and rivers with all the
biological diversity that these eco-systems hold. |
